We thought yoga and meditation, surrounded by books and stories, could be a beautiful experience, so Between the Lines came to life.
Join Kristen of Aligned in Wellness for a Saturday morning of gentle movement, breathing, and a little quiet time before the day begins.
And you’re welcome to stay afterward. We’ll have our granola breakfast, matcha, coffee, and a lovely selection of teas available for our yogis.

The Painted Chapter | Painting at Blueink
Join us for The Painted Chapter, a relaxed afternoon of watercolour, creativity, and good company with Isla.
You’ll create your own hand-painted bookmark while enjoying your favourite Blueink snacks and drink. No painting experience is needed, just come as you are!

Artists Open Mic Night
Blueink Artists Open Mic Night returns on the third Thursday of every month | 5:00–7:00 PM. Join us for an evening of poetry, prose & music.
This evening is a celebration of creativity and community. Whether you write poetry, prose, perform original music, tell stories, or have another original piece you'd like to share, we'd love to welcome you.
Performances are up to 5 minutes, giving everyone a chance to be heard in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. If you'd rather simply listen, you're warmly invited to join us as part of the audience and enjoy an evening of local talent.
The event is free, and registration is encouraged if you'd like to perform so we can plan the evening. We'll do our best to accommodate walk-in performers if time allows.
If you'd like to support the people behind the scenes who help make this event possible, there will be an opportunity to make a voluntary contribution. Your generosity helps us continue creating welcoming community events like this.

Dungeons & Dragons at Blueink
Join us every Saturday from 11 AM–1 PM for Dungeons & Dragons at Blueink.
This weekly gathering is open to adults who enjoy D&D or are curious to learn. You don’t need any previous experience, our group is happy to welcome beginners and help you get started.
Create your hero, learn the game, meet other players, and become part of an ongoing adventure each Saturday.
We have dice and models available, or you’re welcome to bring your own.

Kids Pastry Workshop at Blueink Bookstore & Café
Join us for a fun and delicious hands-on pastry event designed especially for kids ages 6–12! Young bakers will get creative as they make and decorate their own cookies in a guided, interactive workshop that’s equal parts learning and fun. It’s the perfect way to spark creativity, build confidence in the kitchen, and enjoy a sweet treat they made themselves.
While the kids are busy baking, parents can relax in our cozy café space, enjoy freshly brewed coffee, and connect with other parents in a welcoming, social atmosphere. It’s a delightful experience for the whole family — creativity for the kids and a well-deserved coffee break for grown-ups.
